Dell XPS 15 XPS15-1105sLV 15.6-Inch Laptop (Silver Anodized Aluminum)

The Dell XPS 15 XPS15-1105sLV 15.6-Inch Laptop (Silver Anodized Aluminum). It comes with a third-generation Intel core processor, 2.2 GHz and 12 GB of RAM. This is probably one of the most important aspects of this laptop that I’ve seen so far, 12 GB of RAM means you pretty much can run three programs at the same time and you’ll be fine. Because of the huge RAM upgrade it doesn’t have a terabyte of memory it has 750 gigs on the hard drive which is still pretty good it’s only 250 shy of a terabyte and it also has a 15.6 inch screen and uses a Windows 8 operating system. Unfortunately it only has three customer reviews but lets go over them and see exactly how people feel about this unit.
Apparently this unit is notorious for running incredibly hot, I think that’s probably because it has so many gigs of RAM they probably didn’t pack in the proper fan for the unit. But if your playing games online all day the unit probably is going to become too hot to handle. Some people say even after going on the form and trying to change the settings so they can lower the processing power, it still gets pretty hot. Also a lot of people are saying that the trackpad which is like a mouse pad is one of the worst they’ve ever dealt with. Also someone says the Wi-Fi doesn’t work very well unless you’re incredibly close to the router. Another guy thinks it’s also incredibly heavy but because of that it has a strong structure the battery life for him is about three hours. Overall it seems like people were having some problems with this laptop and that’s probably due to the fact that they packed in so much processing power but did not necessarily include a good fan or cooling system. I think I’m going to give the Dell XPS 15 XPS15-1105sLV 15.6-Inch Laptop (Silver Anodized Aluminum) a 7 1/2 out of 10.
